Bonnie's family has reached out to us and reluctantly asked for our help in rehoming her to a home better suited to her herding traits. You may remember Bonnie as "Cinder" from our C-Pod from last year. Her family absolutely adores her and say she is an amazing, good dog, her herding instincts are just too strong and it is becoming an unsafe and anxious (for Bonnie) situation as they have young children that Bonnie just can't help by try to herd.
Bonnie has gone through training and is a very sweet, active dog. She desperately needs a herding job though to channel those heeler instincts that have become more and more apparent as she has grown.
If you are looking for a German Shepherd that is absolutely fantastic, Leia is your girl! She is 3 years old and is currently living with her foster family which includes dogs and kids. Leia gets along great with all of them, she is happy, loads of fun, and loves to run and play. She will chase cats though. Leia has also had some formal training which is a plus! If you love German Shepherds and know what this breed needs, she is ready for her forever home.

Finding Finnegan is a 501(c)(3) Washington Nonprofit Corporation based in Wenatchee. It was started to help try to fill the need in the area as more and more rescues and shelters are finding themselves well over-capacity with stray and unwanted dogs and puppies. It was named after one of the founders, Ms. Kate’s fosters, Finnegan (top middle), who was adopted by her parents and now lives a charmed life with his fur-brother, Charley, in Arizona.
Ms. Kate began fostering for the local Humane Society in 2018 and expanded to foster for multiple rescue agencies and shelters in the neighboring areas before starting Finding Finnegan to be able to directly rescue puppies in need.
